Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
1. User-Generated Content (UGC) Tier & Product Reimbursement
Initial Purchase Discount: Approved UGC Affiliates will receive a one-time 50% discount code applicable toward their first product purchase for content creation purposes.
Reimbursement Threshold: The initial out-of-pocket cost of these products will be fully refunded to the Affiliate once the net profit generated from their direct referral sales meets or exceeds the original purchase price.
Tier Progression: The affiliate program is structured in milestones. As Affiliates successfully meet performance metrics and graduate to higher tiers, they will become eligible to receive complimentary products for promotional purposes at the brand's discretion.

2. Referral Tracking & Cookie Duration
Tracking Link Mechanism: Referrals are tracked via unique affiliate links and custom discount codes.
Cookie Window: Referral links utilize a 30-day tracking cookie. A qualifying sale must be completed within 30 days of the user's last click on the Affiliate's link to be credited to the Affiliate. Cookies are tracked on a "last-click" basis.

3. Base Referral Commissions & Exclusions
Standard Commission Rate: All program participants earn a minimum 10% commission on qualified referral sales.
Exclusions: Commission is calculated based strictly on the net sales amount. This explicitly excludes amounts collected for Gift Cards, sales tax, shipping and handling fees, and any returned or refunded orders.

4. Customizable Customer Discounts (Commission Split)
Affiliates have the option to offer promotional discounts to their audience. To accommodate this, a shared-cost model is applied up to a maximum 10% customer discount:
0% Discount (No Discount Offered):
Brand Contribution: 0%
Affiliate Commission Reduction: 0%
Net Affiliate Commission: 10%

5% Discount Offered:
Brand Contribution: 2.5%
Affiliate Commission Reduction: 2.5%
Net Affiliate Commission: 7.5%

10% Discount Offered (Maximum Allowed):
Brand Contribution: 5.0%
Affiliate Commission Reduction: 5.0%
Net Affiliate Commission: 5.0%

Policy: Any discount offered to your audience is split equally (50/50) between the brand and your base commission, capped at a maximum customer discount of 10%.

5. Payout Schedule & Financial Terms
Payment Cycle: Commissions are calculated monthly and paid on a Net 30 schedule (e.g., commissions earned in January will be paid at the end of February). This window accounts for the standard customer return period.
Minimum Payout Threshold: Affiliates must accumulate a minimum balance of $25.00 in earned commissions before a payout is issued. Balances below this threshold will roll over to the following month.
Payment Methods: All payouts will be distributed electronically via the designated affiliate platform payment processor (e.g., PayPal or direct bank transfer).

6. Content Ownership & Usage Rights
Brand License to Affiliate: The brand grants the Affiliate a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use authorized logos, banners, and product images solely for marketing purposes under this program.
Affiliate License to Brand: By producing User-Generated Content (UGC) promoting the brand, the Affiliate grants the brand a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, repurpose, and distribute said content across official marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and website assets.

7. Relationship of Parties
Independent Contractor Status: Participation in this program establishes an independent contractor relationship only. It does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, franchise, or employment relationship between the Affiliate and the brand. Affiliates are solely responsible for any tax liabilities arising from earned commissions.
